Mémoire values the protection of your personal data. In this privacy policy we explain what data we collect, why, and how we handle it — in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who are we?

3. Why do we process this data?
We process personal data on the following legal grounds:
Performance of a contract: to manage your account and deliver the service;
Legal obligation: for accounting and tax purposes;
Legitimate interest: for fraud prevention, security, and service improvement;
Consent: for placing non-essential cookies such as Google Analytics (where applicable). You may withdraw consent at any time via the Cookie Policy page.
4. How long do we retain your data?
Account data: retained for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, data is deleted within 90 days.

Payment data: retained in accordance with the statutory retention period of 7 years.
Log files: retained for a maximum of 30 days.
5. Sharing with third parties
Mémoire only shares your data with third parties where necessary for the provision of the service or as required by law:
Stripe: for processing payments. Stripe has its own privacy policy.
Google Analytics: when you consent to analytical cookies, anonymised usage data is shared with Google LLC. Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation and Consent Mode v2 so that no data is sent before consent is given. You can opt out at any time via Google's opt-out tool.
Hosting provider: for storing data and photos on secure servers.
Email service: for sending transactional emails.
Mémoire never sells your data to third parties.
